Congratulations!

Today four participants graduated from the inaugural Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano Speaker Series, hosted by Faith Food Fridays in partnership with Toastmasters International. An intense 6-week training course provided hunger issue related-advocacy training and public speaking instruction that transformed them into confident, well-spoken advocates for anti-hunger/poverty legislation. The highlight was our first trip to Sacramento capital to join in the “Hunger Action Day” activities on May 24th.  Congrats and we look forward to more good partnerships with FBCCS!
